If you've been around the internet for any decent length of time, you probably have seen that there is an abundance of information available on almost anything you can imagine.
When exploring just about any single study you will find many wizards available eager to produce evidence supporting conclusions about their studies, and you will find just as many experts serving up logical arguments and evidence in contrast to those conclusions.
If we want to really gain the truth about something how are we supposed to know who we can trust to answer our questions when there are so many controversies to almost everything.
Let's elaborate this just a little:
The light bulb was independently invented by Joseph Swan, Thomas Edison, and more than a few people will say that the Bagdad battery and drawings in the pyramids point the first origins of the light bulb being none less than the ancient Egyptian
If you look closely at the "evidence" supporting other historical "facts" you may quickly find that many have loose ends, holes, or at least require faith and acceptance. The more we research some things the more we will find some "facts" will leave us with more questions.
What about things that matter to us:
There are a lot of "educators" out there teaching things that really have no truth to them; some which just stem from long forgotten "propaganda" meant to rally people under a real or metaphoric flag.
This matters, because these things can be like ripples in a pond caused by a thrown stone each reaction affecting us in ways we are not even aware of, building fundamental belief systems of our self expectations of whom we are and causing self stereo typing.
You can like what you know but it is more important that you put faith in yourself than to allow self confusion from all the widely available hocus pocus, this is true and that's not teachings that you have very little to gain from.
Now you might not have all the answers to everything, but you with some mindfulness and use of deep meditation you can actually get answers from yourself.
Using meditation you can directly question yourself on how to advance any facet of your life and with a little time realistic and useful answers will arise.
The answers that come to you will become better and better, and in reality you will be using more of your mind by utilizing your subconscious by asking the question and expecting solutions. |
